On June 7th, I completed my first triathalon!#
During the race, I felt terrible. I was horribly nauseous during the second lap of the bike race, to the point that I felt the need to pull my bike over for a minute out of fear that I would vomit. I felt very in my head about the competition, telling myself that “this sucks, I’m never doing this again”, “I might quit”, and “I feel so bad right now”.
I understood that thinking these things was demoralizing, so I told myself that I couldn’t yet make the decision if I was going to do a race like this again or not.
